Veterinary Nursing advice, clinics & services

  • Expressing anal glands
  •  Foot care

  •  Advice on administering medication
  •  Dietary advice – We discuss your pets individual nutritional needs to manage their health conditions and weight management as required.
  •  Mobility assessment – To include Gait Analysis, Stance Analysis, hands on muscular assessment, and assess joint range of movement. We give advice on exercise modifications and home adaptations and can make recommendations for complementary therapies and arrange referrals if required.
  •  Dental care clinic – Dietary recommendations including chews, teeth cleaning advice, oral assessment, and demonstrations as required.
  •  Allergies / Skin conditions – Dietary advice and recommendations, skin and coat assessment. complementary treatments, and products to manage long term conditions, including home modifications.
  •  Puppy advice clinics – Weight checks, teething and dietary advice, enrichment toys and training aids. Breeder support including worming and Microchipping.
  •  Anxiety and behavioural changes discussion and offer recommendations for support.

Additional services

  • Mobility Clinic – Following an Initial assessment, treatment including K-Laser Therapy using a Veterinary grade IV high powered K-laser to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, speed up the healing process and aid pain management. Administer any prescribed medication such as Librela / Solensia. Repeat Stance Analysis to assess treatment outcomes and recommendations for other complementary therapies as required. Discuss and review prescribed home exercise plans.
  • Allergy / Skin Management Clinic – Following initial assessment, treatment, recommendations and record keeping. Administer medication such as Cytopoint if prescribed. Assess treatment outcomes and recommendations to other complementary therapies as required.
